Tank and Lefty is a homemade clothing and accessories shop from Lawrence, Kansas. All items are made with my own two hands and are fun useful pieces that I’ve found really make life easier and are cute to boot. Each children’s item is state compliant and made with the safety of your child in mind. Most of my items are machine washable and kid friendly unless otherwise marked as handwashable. Our Story
Four years ago I gained a 3 year old step daughter and shortly after I was surprised with twin daughters. Parenting has been purely trial and error for me and I picked up sewing as an alternative to paying for items that just didn’t work the way they could have. I love making items that really work for parents and I have really taken the time to find quality materials that will stand the test of multiple washes and take the beating that life can give.
Our Clothes
I have done my absolute best to ensure that my products will last through some rough and tumble days but to ensure that stitching can hold up over time I suggest that all dresses and headbands be hand washed. Items such as bibs and diapers are expected to hold up through multiple washes and will all come with specific washing instructions. These items are also state compliant and I use mostly cotton as I feel it is the most durable, usable, and comfortalbe on all skin types. All handmade items are made in a clean, smoke free, pet friendly home. These items are priced to sell and do not include shipping. Shipping is based on the size of the order and will take 3-5 days after the order is completed. Most items are premade but I am always open to suggestions and if you have a preference on prints that you see throughout the site I’m willing to make an item to suit your needs.
